I would like to say a big Thank you! to Ann Parsons and Geraldene Holt for their support and contribution in 2006 and for their offers to help in the future, too.

The Committee will meet on 26 February to finalise the Activity Plan 2007. In the meanwhile, if you have more suggestions and ideas for future events, please email me before our meeting on 26th.

We had another absolute success on 31 January with our SF Student Fish Cooking class at Oxford Brookes Restaurant. Thanks to Ted Maxwell, to the Fishmonger in the Covered Market and to the OB Chef Richard Watson, the 16 students had a chance to learn about fish, buying fish and cooking fish and we all enjoyed 4 excellent fish dishes at the end.

The SF Students website is under construction and SF UK promised further support with this exciting project, and historic initiative, indeed.

Last but not least, the next SF Book Club is on Tuesday 20 March at 7pm at the Summertown Wine Cafe. The book is The Kitchen and the Cook by Nicholas Freeling. We will be focusing on The Kitchen, the first in the volume. To sing up please email Liz Wilding.
